Firebug for Firefox is excellent.

How do I use Filezilla?
To upload files to your website, you will firstly need your FTP username and password, and the FTP Host name. This will be supplied to you by Wirth Consulting if you have asked us to purchase a website hosting plan for you. Otherwise your website host usually provides the FTP login details to you in the email when you purchase a hosting plan from them.
What tool do I use to upload files and images to my website?
Joomla has built-in functionality to upload images and files however of you are uploading a lot of files you may wish to use FTP software.

What is FTP?
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. It essentially is a piece of software that allows you to communicate (e.g. upload files) to your web server (i.e. the computer that your web host uses to store your website on).
Although Joomla, the JCE Editor and many third party Components provide you with the ability to upload images within the website administration panel, there may be times when it is easier to use FTP e.g. for uploading a large number of files/images to your site.
There are many available FTP software programs available. A free and easy to use one is called Filezilla.
What is Feedburner and how do I view my RSS analytics?
If we have configured RSS feeds for your website, we have done so with the Feedburner tool. Feedburner is a free RSS management tool from Google.

How can I reduce the size of images before I upload them to my website?
Download Fotosizer
Fotosizer is a very useful free tool that will allow you to resize images in batches. Resizing images to a smaller file size is highly recommended for optimal website performance.
